Didn’t sleep well last night and now my dinner appetite has been affected by it. But! I have been craving for Liège waffles since we arrived from our Christmas trip to Belgium last Sunday. Thankfully ALDI Nord carries it and I bought two packs!
Right after preparing some leftover Champorado for Ric, I fixed some waffles and made-ahead ground beef. After topping them with grated cheddar, I slid them into the airfryer where they warmed up for 5 minutes at 150°C. Yummy.
Don’t sleep on this. The sweet, yeasty goodness of Liège waffles complements the ground beef and cheese so well (this goes without saying, honestly)! Or maybe I have wonky taste buds…
